PS4 Hall Effect Analog JoyStick

Hall Effect analog sticks are known for their durability and precision because they do not have physical contact points that can wear out over time.

Inside the stick, there is a magnet, and around it is a Hall Effect sensor. When you move the stick, the magnet moves as well, and the change in magnetic field strength is detected by the Hall Effect sensor. This sensor then converts the magnetic field changes into an electrical signal that represents the position of the stick along both the X and Y axes.
